Dear Rob Gronkowski, Please Don’t Sue Me

Hi Rob and Brittany, Thank you for your recent email (pasted below for your convenience). I became a huge fan of your work over the last few years. 17 touchdowns!? Over 1300 yards!? Unreal. I remember speculating that you might be the best tight end ever to play the game.  I still think you could be the best tight end ever. I truly appreciate that you sacrificed your body to help the Patriots win games. You might be the most captivating and entertaining Patriots player ever — on and off the field. Brady could challenge you, but his off the field antics involve too many lady sweaters and water slides. We understand that you think this...

Patriots Fans in Awesome Bud Light Commercial Sep23

Patriots Fans in Awesome Bud Light Commercial

I love this commercial, in part, because I am Ramsey (to some degree).  I’m sure many of you are also Ramsey-esque or have a Ramsey at your house on NFL Sundays. I don’t throw cheese curls around, but I yell like a madman (on bad days) and did do a double fist smash into two bowls of chips after the Pats lost to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI (it relieved the pain for a few seconds). Kudos to Bud Light and their marketing team, this is a gem. Check out the Drunken Sportsmen...

Patriots’ WR Kenbrell Thompkins Sep08

Patriots’ WR K...

Kenbrell Thompkins might be the Tom Brady of wide receivers. Is he the next Patriots player to come out of nowhere and have a Hall of Fame career seemingly on willpower alone? Seemingly willpower until you realize that he’s immensely talented, but a confluence of events in his past kept...

How Robert Griffin I...

After a superb rookie season that resulted in a divisional championship and playoff berth for the Washington Redskins, Robert Griffin III appeared to be the savior for a franchise that had fallen on tough times. His ability to run and throw the football threw a wrench in nearly every defense...

2013 NFL Mock Draft – Picks 17-32 Apr24

2013 NFL Mock Draft – Picks 17-32

  17. Pittsburgh Steelers – Alec Ogletree ILB, Georgia The Steelers need to replace some LBs, Ogletree is athletic and can play inside or outside. He comes with some off field concerns. CB is also a spot Steelers could look to fill. 18. Dallas Cowboys – Sheldon Richardson DT, Missouri Cowboys could use a OG or S but will find the value at DT to be better. Richardson can play inside or outside and will be a good fit for Monte Kiffin’s 4-3 Defense. 19. New York Giants – Tyler Eifert TE, Notre Dame The Giants have stuck to taking the best player available the past few drafts regardless of need. Eifert at this point...

2013 NFL Mock Draft – Picks 1-16 Apr21

2013 NFL Mock Draft – Picks 1-16

Who will be a star? Who will be a bust? It doesn’t seem like any of the highly paid experts can figure this out, so here’s my non-highly paid, but often as accurate 2013 NFL Mock Draft. This draft seems to have a lot less certainty than past drafts making the mock process even more of an adventure. 1. Kansas City Chiefs – Luke Joeckel OT, Texas A&M The Chiefs took care of their QB need by trading for Alex Smith and signing Chase Daniel. They released Eric Winston and seem to be pushing Branden Albert out the door. Joeckel and Eric Fisher are the top Tackle prospects. I would go with Joeckel who played in the SEC...
